The all new 'RBR High Protection Billet Oil Filter' incorporates a Canton 8 micron interchangeable filter element (half the size that the average spin-on filter can filter & have a far greater flow rate)
They have an anti-drain back flap BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY DO NOT have the potentially dangerous bypass valve that is incorporated in mostly all regular spin-on filters.
With the modern high power performance & race Jaguar engines producing much needed high oil pressure, the regular filters can blow off their bypass valve under high pressure conditions (from cold etc) once the valve blows off then the oil by-passes the filter - thus NO FILTERING straight to the engine's bearings etc!
