Much of an engine's performance can be attributed to it's cylinder head. Whether you have a standard road car or a full race machine, a freshly overhauled cylinder head can transform your car. Choose from our option menu to suit your needs:
Option 1 - Standard Spec

Head fully rebuilt to concours standard including new lead-free valves and seats (as necessary), new valve guides, new valve springs, 1.4" tappets, tappet guides bored, cam bearings and reground cams. This will regain lost performance, improve tickover, eliminate most top end rattles, and cure excessive oil consumption caused by worn valve guides.

Option 2 - Fast Road (approx. 20bhp gain)

As option 1 but with enlarged 1.8" inlet valves, fully gas-flowed and heavy-duty valve springs fitted. Recommended to be used in conjunction with a free-flowing air filter system and matched inlet manifold.

Option 3 - Fast Road/Race(approx. 30-40bhp gain)

As option 2 but with 1.875" valves & uprated cam profile. Depending on your final desired performance, we would recommend this head be used with a free flowing air filter, tubular exhaust manifolds, and possibly Weber carburettors on a matched manifold (our own manifold comes ready-matched!).

Option 4 - Full Race (300 bhp plus)

As option 3 with the addition of specially shaped race-spec valves, bronze valve guides, bronze tappet guides, large diameter tappets, race-spec valve springs, full race camshafts. This specification is for race use only and can only attain its full potential in conjunction with a Weber induction system and tubular exhaust manifolds on an engine with appropriate bottom end modifications. Not for the faint-hearted!

THESE PRICES ARE EXCLUSIVE OF VAT AND DELIVERY AND ARE FOR THE REBUILD OF A CUSTOMERS OWN HEAD WHERE A SERVICABLE UNIT HAS BEEN SUPPLIED.

Power gains quoted are of course dependent on the heads being fitted to serviceable engines and any necessary carburation adjustments being carried out!
